Happy EASTER!!!
Woke up late this morning (was supposed to be at work at 7am, bummer). The kids were up so Laura and I decided to do the Easter Basket thing (they were hidden by the Easter Bunny, they looked, they found, they ate candy at 7:30am!). I got to work at 8am. Late, but better for it. Last Easter I didn’t have the kids. This year was the start of a new tradition for us…one of many great ones!
On a more religious or Jesus note: Ever wonder why Jesus rose from the dead on the same day as the pagan holiday, “Easter”?
And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. (KJV – God’s Version…um, that was a joke, sorry couldn’t resist)
I think he rose on a Roman Pagan Holiday not to show he was lord over it but to display that he can be found in all religions.
Christianity isn’t the only way.
Jesus is.
Happy Easter.
It’s a boy!!
I would like to announce that some time in late June I will become the proud father of a boy!
Laura and I found out a couple weeks that we will be having a boy! She is 25 weeks along as of yesterday. I couldn’t be happier. So now we turn our attention to the projects: remodeling, naming the baby, etc.
NAMES (please feel free to add to this list): here’s what we’re got picked out so far (in no particular order, although they really are…)
Sean David Neal
Logan David Neal
Eli David Neal
Thor David Neal
Odin David Neal
(the last two stand a snowballs chance in hell, but I’m working on it…)

Goodbye Gary Gygax
The co-founder of Dungeons & Dragons, Gary Gygax, died today. Thanks for making the game I have loved since childhood!
