A Heretic’s Guide to Eternity:1

I just received A Heretic’s Guide to Eternity today by UPS. I was asked by http://theOoze.com to do a review of the book on my blog. So far I have only been able to scan through the book, and read the forword by Brian McLaren. The book is written in three sections:

Section One:
Questioning Grace: the future of faith

Section Two:
Questioning What We Know: new horizons of faith

Section Three:
Living in Grace: mystical responsibility

I think I will try to review each section, and probably hit on anything that jumps out as extra.

Abrasive Water

Went to the beach today. I have went three times now and my pasty white body isn’t looking so pasty white anymore – this is a good thing for those without sunglasses! Anyway. The first time I went I got sunburnt so bad I was puking that night. A couple weeks later it was peeling like mad. Oddly enough, every time I go to the beach, or take a shower it peels more. I’m wondering how abrasive water is. I guess I always think of water as soft, you know, it cleans, but then again maybe because it is abrasive it is a great cleanser?
