A Much Needed Night Off

Just me and the kids tonight. I let Carrina have the night off. That sounded sort of chauvanistic, I know. But, she wanted it, and she needed it, so she gets it.

So, I rented some movies with the kids, and we ate a late dinner followed by some GREAT zucchinni apple pie that Carrina made (she is the best cook/baker!). I even let the kids stay up a little later (shhh, don’t tell her).

After they went to bed I went on line. I have been in this sermon listening mood (if that is a mood). So, I am listening to Darrin Patrick (of the Journey, see Church links on the right) talk about “The Worst Thing That Can Happen to a Christian”. His conclusion? Legalism.

And what am I doing while I am listening to this sermon? Playing poker online. (I just went all in twice and won!)

Is there something wrong with those two going together? lol

Pretty soon, I’m off to watch the movie I rented and make some buttery popcorn! Get some rest, honey, and enjoy your night off, you deserve it!
