For the Love of God

In 1990 Whitesnake released its newest album (we called them albums once upon a time) featuring their newest lead guitarist, Steve Vai.

If you have never heard of Steve Vai, or have never heard him you’re missing out.

He has got to be one of the all time greatest guitar players of all time. Hands down. His work on Slip of the Tongue (Whitesnake) was amazing, and then he followed it up with some of his own work, in a little package called “Passion and Warfare”.

While looking for a song to put on my myspace site, I came across his website and have been listening to his stuff all over again…wow.

I dare you to take a few minutes and listen. His passion and point in his song “For the Love of God” is powerful. Check it out here and then click on the video by that title. I know some people are not found of this type of musical style, etc. I am not trying to promote it, or go against anyone’s conscience, but I believe what he is trying to communicate through his guitar music, accompainied with the video, is power. Your thoughts are welcome…
